"The James Gang - Yer' Album -1969 US":

The Gang's roots stretch back to 1966 in Cleveland, OH, where drummer Jim Fox formed the group with a few fellow Kent State University students, guitarist Glenn Schwartz and bassist Tom Kriss. But when Schwartz left to join Pacific Gas Electric, Fox and Kriss opted to carry on with new singer/guitarist Joe Walsh. Yer' Album is the first album by the James Gang, released in 1969. The group had written some material, but they were still something of a cover band and this is the only album featuring the bassist Tom Kriss. An exciting, hard-rocking white blues record. It includes a terrific versions of Howard Tate's "Stop", Buffalo Springfield's "Bluebird" and the Yardbirds' "Lost Woman".

Members:
Joe Walsh: Guitars, keyboards, piano, vocals.
Tom Kriss: Bass guitar, flute, vibraphone, vocals.
Jim Fox: Drums, percussion, keyboards, vocals.
