"Morly Grey - The Only Truth -1972 US ":

Morly Grey was an acid rock band from Ohio, formed in the late 1960s. Morly Grey released their first and only album "The Only Truth" in 1972. First drummer Paul Cassidy left the band after the recordings was done and Bob Lanave took his place. The group kept side one but recorded a new side two with the new drummer and also changed the album title after the new track "The Only Truth". So there are two drummers on the album. For a trio, their sound was an electrifying full exciting new sound that was just starting to make its way into the consciousness of young adventurous musicians. You will hear acid rock, psychedelic sounds reminiscent of The Doors and Jimi Hendrix and jazz-rock fusion, like on the track "Our Time."

Members: Tim Roller ( guitar) Mark Roller ( bass, vocals) Paul Cassidy (drums) Bob Lanave (drums, percussion, vocals )
