by request: "The Duke Of Burlington - Flash-1970 Italy":
The Duke Of Burlington were a lost Italian combo from the 70s. The band mix up hard heavy piano, funky drum breaks, choppy guitar and some nice soulful flute solos. This album includes the incredible breakbeat classic "Flash", sampled many times over the years and fantastic instrumental tracks featuring great covers of El Chicano's "Viva Tirado", The Jackson 5 "I Want You Back" , Dick Hyman's "The Minotaur", plus some really great original material, like "Criss Cross", "Jungle Duke", "Flute For President", "Slot Machine" and "LSD".

The nun cover is more dangerous and cooler than the CD cover art reissue. A bit like the Deviant's nun cover.

But shouldn't it be the other way around, you would think that the old vintage cover art would be more conservative and the modern CD cover would be more daring. But that's the times we live in, so boring and uncolorful. The 60s and the 70s were definitely more colorful and cooler than now.

Thanks for the post. Always loving your blog.
