"Kaleidoscope - Bernice- 1970 US":

Kaleidoscope's fourth and final album (as a band), "Bernice" released in 1970, including "Chocolate Whale", "Another Lover" and "Sneakin' Thru The Ghetto".Their sound here is more electric than the earlier albums and has more country influence. There were further personnel changes, adding singer-guitarist Jeff Kaplan, and bassist Ron Johnston who replaced Brotman during the making of the album. Feldthouse also left the band.

Finally got a moment to listen to this. A brilliant late album, complete with girly backup and strings, still original with all this polish. How did they maintain their unique sound with such conviction? Very unusual in a late career album. I love it. Thanks djfanis, you're my hero.
