"Julius Victor-From The Nest-1970 US":

Here is a rare and great heavy psych album, "From The Nest" by Julius Victor. Probably from New York, this short-lived outfit was obviously influenced by Iron Butterfly. Their material was original and penned by Lawrence Engstrom (sometimes with the help of Kimball Lee). The music is somewhat similar to bands like Iron Butterfly or Valhalla, with heavy organ, strong male vocals, tight rhythm section, and of course some hot lead guitar. Much sought after by hard rock and heavy psych fans.It was produced by the famous jazz musician Ahmad Jamal.
